Cycling and Relationship Bliss
One of my good friends, a keen cyclist, is very lucky – his partner is also a keen cyclist. They go riding together, they train together, they follow cycling together – in short, they BOTH understand the need for each to go out for a ride.
Those of us whose partners are not keen cyclists face a dilemma every time we want to go out for a ride – we want to go out for an hour or two ride, that quickly becomes three, four or more as we ramp up the training. Add to that the coffee stop, the cycling related social catch ups, and quickly, our passion is seen as a threat to the relationship bliss!
Cycling Tips has posted guidelines to Negotiating a Leave Pass, which shows you how NOT to have your regular rides interfere with your relationship bliss! The videos provide a stark warning of what might happen if you get it wrong!
